Please consider writing for the Red Clay Co-op website! You do not have to consider yourself a “writer” or an “expert” to write for us. We welcome anyone who homeschools to contribute to our site.
It is a goal of the Red Clay Co-op to create an online resource for homeschoolers with a focus on Georgia homeschoolers. We are currently seeking submissions regarding homeschooling, unschooling, legal advice, curriculum reviews, book reviews and any other topic regarding homeschooling. (See below for suggestions.)
We also invite subscribers to post information regarding activities and other educational opportunities around Georgia. Recommendations for links are also welcome.
All links, activities, programs, books, curriculums and similar recommendations on this site should be secular in nature. However, if any homeschooler is writing a personal account about what their homeschooling life is like and they include religious studies, it is perfectly okay to write about this.
Submissions should be under 1000 words, and Red Clay Co-op reserves the right to edit for length and clarity. We also reserve the right to reject any submission for any reason. Writers do not have to be members or live in the Athens, GA area to write for the website.
We cannot pay for any submission, but we will link to the writer’s website, if requested, and we will add your name to a contributor’s page.
Please send submissions as MS Word document or include in the body of the e-mail to Shelli Pabis at writetospabis (at) gmail (dot) com.
